AWM have a number of warranty options available for new build, refurbishment and retrospective* projects. With the insured Latent Defect Guarantee in the form of the Pioneer Warranty and the longer term assurance offered by the Protector and Pathfinder Warranty (both non-insured), AWM will have the available options to suit your needs and budget.
Our insured roof & cladding latent defect guarantee is administered by Building & Land Guarantees Ltd and ultimately insured by Lloyd’s Syndicates 4472 (Liberty Syndicates) and A rated* insurer, the only UK based insurer offering this guarantee exclusively to us.
Should cover beyond the Pioneer Warranty period be required then AWM have the ability to introduce the Pathfinder Warranty for up to a further 15 years of cover. Where you require some piece of mind but do not want a fully insured system then the Protector Warranty can be a valuable addition to your project. This provides the reassurance that the workmanship is of a high standard utilising the specified products, with the assurance of up to 25 years warranty cover on successful completion.
AWM AUDIT PROCESS.
A major factor of the warranty options available are that they are all subject to AWM auditing throughout the installation. AWM has brought together a team of highly skilled people, who have the ability and experience to understand the demanding role of independent roofing and cladding auditor. AWM’s auditors are not just been chosen for their experience in assessing the quality of roofing and cladding installations, they have also been chosen because they can communicate at all levels and can work as team members in the design and construction process.
AWM role starts well before the onsite construction process; our engagement starts at the design stage where our experience of daily onsite auditing brings valuable knowledge to the design and detailing parties. AWM’s knowledge of perimeter detailing and Building Regulation requirements have ensured that buildings constructed have achieved good levels of airtightness first time without need for costly rectification.
* Note that the cost for any retrospective warranty will reflect the risk involved and AWM and/or Building & Land Guarantees are not under any obligation to undertake such works. It is highly recommended that all warranty quotations are requested and accepted before work commences.
